About Me

Welcome to my portfolio! I’m Rachel, and I'm a  third year student in Vancouver Island University's CIDA accredited Bachelor of Interior Design.

Growing up, I've always had a creative side with a love for art and design, leading me to pursue a degree in interior design to put my skills to practical use.  Throughout my studies, I've developed a deeper appreciation for the role of environmental and social sustainability in design. Now, I strive to apply my creativity in each project and create spaces that are not only beautiful, but also responsible - prioritizing design solutions that enhance the well-being of the users and the environment.

Outside of class, you may find me in the pottery studio, out on a hike with friends, or exploring new recipes in the kitchen. These hobbies are what keep me inspired, help me stay connected,  and fuel my creativity.
